Treasure share
So why go adventuring with six adventurers? Let’s take an army!
This mechanic is designed to put a soft cap on the number of adventurers in the party, rather than have the usual race to get to the maximum.
Adventurers want to get rich, and will want their fair share. They are risking their life, after all!
Mission earnings and rewards are not “loot” and so you will keep these. Any earnings from trading are the same. (Items you have bought are marked with a small gold bar, so you know which sales will not be split amongst your band)
Treasure share is 5% for all characters.
Wages will increase very rapidly. The formula is:
(level * 6) + 8 gold per day.
Each time you agree an improved contract with an adventurer, this counts as 2 bonus levels.
Special characters demand an extra 50%.
Wizards are especially greedy and these figures are x2.
Earning enough loot to keep a big band of high level characters together is intentionally very difficult!
