An acolyte can become one of the following advanced professions at level 5:

Witch

A magic user, drawing on ancient evils for power.​​
Restrictions: No armour. No shield.​ Staff only.
Statistic boost at Level 5, 12 and 20:   Intelligence
Skill bonus at level 5:  Spook
Skill bonus at level 12: Sleep
Skill bonus at level 20: Malediction

Wizard

​A classical, arcane and scholarly wizard, spending years learning the rituals needed for battle magic.
Restrictions: No armour. No shield.​ Staff only.
Statistic boost at Level 5, 12 and 20:   Intelligence
Skill bonus at level 5:  Fireball
Skill bonus at level 12: Invisibility
Skill bonus at level 20: Firestorm

Necromancer

​A magic user, drawing on the powers of the dead for power.
Restrictions: No armour. No shield.​ Staff only.
​Statistic boost at Level 5, 12 and 20:   Intelligence
Skill bonus at level 5:  Raise
Skill bonus at level 12: Strength of the Dead
Skill bonus at level 20: Deathmask

Priest

​Draws on the power of the gods for magic, and the power of his sword arm to smite the unworthy.
Restrictions: No armour. No shield.​ Staff only.
Statistic boost at Level 5, 12 and 20:   Intelligence
​Skill bonus at level 5:  Bless
Skill bonus at level 12: Holy Aura
Skill bonus at level 20: Angel of Light

Warlock

​A true student of adventuring - determined to balance sword play and magic use to best effect. The only wizardly subclass that may use heavy armour.
Restrictions: No missile weapons.
Statistic boost at Level 5, 12 and 20:  Strength or Intelligence
Skill bonus at level 5:  Darkness
Skill bonus at level 12: Fireball
Skill bonus at level 20: Flash
